1. Privacy Commitment

At Clowdy, we design software with a local-first philosophy. Your privacy is paramount. Unlike standard voice assistants that stream your audio and screen captures to remote servers, Clowdy performs all core screen processing and desktop automation locally on your Windows computer.

2. Data Processing & API Keys

Clowdy utilizes Google Gemini models for expressive voice conversations and computer control tasks. To run Clowdy, you must supply your own Gemini API key. All model requests (including transcription, desktop image analysis, and action planning) are transmitted directly from the client application on your computer to Google Gemini APIs. Clowdy does not intercept, log, or store your API keys or prompts on our servers.

3. Data We Collect on the Web

When you register on MWAEL.DEV or use our licensing portal, we collect the minimum necessary data to manage your license and secure our platforms:

  • Account Data: Name, email address, password hashes, and signup timestamps.
  • License & HWID Verification: To enforce device slot limits and validate activations, our licensing API logs your desktop hardware IDs (HWIDs), client machine names, IP addresses, and check-in timestamps.
  • Payment Logs: To verify payments, we store your uploaded receipts (screenshots or PDF documents), transaction references, EGP values, and notes.

4. Trial Abuse & Fraud Prevention

We enforce a strict one-trial-per-device policy. To identify and block automated account registrations or trial loop farming, we collect and audit browser fingerprint characteristics, client IPs, and device hardware signatures. Accounts flag-marked for farming will have their licenses suspended automatically.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to manage authentication sessions, preventing the need to re-login repeatedly. Optional Google Analytics 4 checks are used solely to monitor website conversion ratios. You can review detailed preferences in our Cookie Policy.

6. Deletion Requests

You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated licensing logs. Account deletion requests can be initiated from the Security section of your user dashboard. Banned or suspended accounts may retain HWID records to prevent further trial farming abuse.
