1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device by your browser when you visit websites. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, save user preferences, and provide analytics data to site owners.

2. How We Use Cookies

Clowdy utilizes a minimal set of cookies, divided into the following categories:

  • Essential Session Cookies: We store a secure JWT token cookie named auth_token to keep you logged in to your dashboard and administrative portals. This cookie is encrypted and secure, ensuring your sessions remain protected. Without it, you would have to enter your credentials on every single page load.
  • Security and Anti-Abuse Cookies: We utilize state checks to manage CSRF tokens, secure logins, and prevent brute-force attacks.
  • Analytics Cookies: If configured, we load Google Analytics 4 to track total site visitor flow, session durations, and checkout page conversion rates. No personal information is stored inside these cookies.

3. Managing Cookies

You can choose to disable or block cookies directly from your browser settings. However, please note that if you reject essential session cookies, you will be unable to log in to the Clowdy dashboard or manage your active license keys.
