Quick Start Guide

Get Clowdy running on your Windows machine in under 5 minutes. Follow these simple registration and launch steps.

1. Download the Setup Executable

First, log in to your dashboard and navigate to the Downloads section. Download the latest release: clowdy-setup.exe. This contains the Clowdy client installer.

2. Run the Installer

Double-click the installer on Windows. Follow the prompts. The installer will check if your system meets the requirements:

• Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
• Python 3.10+ (automatically installed/verified by installer)
• Active microphone and webcam inputs

3. Supply Your Gemini API Key

On the first startup, Clowdy will present a configuration wizard. Enter your Google Gemini API key here. The key is stored locally in your environment variables and is never shared with our servers.

4. Activate Your License Key

Enter the license key displayed in your web dashboard Overview tab. The licensing API will bind this key to your machine's unique hardware ID (HWID).
